Before installing the skeleton dust seal, on the one hand, check whether the shaft surface is too rough and whether there are scars, especially long scars along the axial direction. If the surface roughness of the shaft is not up to the requirements or there are scratches in the axial direction, it is easy to cause leakage. At this time, the shaft should be replaced with a new one or rounded. On the other hand, it is necessary to check whether the skeleton dust seal has defects such as scratches, cracks and wear. If there are defects, replace them immediately, otherwise it will also lead to leakage.
Then the shaft and the cavity seat hole are strictly clear, no rust, sand and other foreign matter are allowed, and at the same time, blow it off with compressed air. Before installing the seal into the shaft end, you can first apply a layer of lubricating oil or grease on the skeleton dust seal to ensure that the seal can smoothly fit into the shaft end. The surface is coated with grease, the sealing ring is sleeved on the film cylinder, and the seal can be smoothly passed through the spline shaft.

Tight band spring is subject to vibration, easy to fly off or skew, need to pay close attention to, so as to ensure the installation accuracy of the skeleton dust seal. Also, when the seal is installed in the cavity, in order to prevent the lip from being scratched, special tools should be used. Simple and brutal methods are not allowed. The seal is loaded with hammers, iron rods and other tools.
