Rotating seal ring manufacturers share seal ring classification and function

Rotating sealing ring manufacturers believe that the common sealing ring is a seal, also known as a seal, which can shield the oil and prevent the oil from overflowing or passing. Rotary seal ring manufacturers think that the commonly used seals for cylinders include sealing rings, piston rod rings, buffer rings, guide sealing rings, end cover rings and piston rings.

Rotary seal ring manufacturer: The seal ring is installed outside the end cover of the hydraulic cylinder to prevent external pollutants from entering the cylinder. According to the installation method, it can be divided into card insertion and press-in type.

Inlet type dust rings are the most common. As the name suggests, the dust ring is stuck in a groove in the inner wall of the end cover and is used under less harsh environmental conditions. The material of the vertical sealing ring is usually polyurethane, and the structure has many deformations. For example, H and K sections are lip structures, but do not change.

Rotating sealing ring manufacturers talk about indentation sealing ring

The indentation anti-vibration ring does not get stuck in the groove under harsh and heavy load conditions, but wraps a metal layer on the outside of the polyurethane material to improve strength and pushes it into the end cover of the hydraulic cylinder. Indentation dustproof also has many forms, which are divided into single stand and lip.

Piston rod seal

The piston rod seal, also known as the U-cup, is the main piston rod seal installed inside the end cover of the hydraulic cylinder to prevent the loss of hydraulic oil. The piston rod seal is made of polyurethane or nitrile rubber and in some cases must be used with a sealing ring (also called a retaining ring), which is used to prevent the seal from being squeezed under pressure. The piston rod seal also has a variety of deformations.

Buffer seal

The buffer seal is used as an auxiliary piston rod seal to protect the piston rod in the event of a sudden increase in system pressure. There are generally three types of cushioning seals. Type A is a single seal manufactured from polyurethane. Type B and Type C are two types, which prevent the seal from squeezing and make the seal withstand higher pressure.

Guide sealing ring

The guide seal ring is installed on the end cover of the hydraulic cylinder and the piston to support the piston rod and the piston, guide the piston to move linearly, and prevent metal-to-metal contact. Materials include plastic, bronze coated with polytetrafluoroethylene, etc.

End cover seal

The end cover seal is used to seal the cylinder end cover and the cylinder wall. It is a static seal to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking from the gap between the end cover and the cylinder wall. It is usually composed of nitrile rubber O-rings and sealing rings (retaining rings).

Piston seal

The piston seal is used to cut off the two chambers of the hydraulic cylinder and is the main seal in the hydraulic cylinder. Usually two-piece, the outer ring is made of polytetrafluoroethylene or nylon, and the inner ring is made of nitrile rubber. There are also various variants, including the use of bronze coated with Teflon. The single-acting cylinder also has a polyurethane U-shaped cup.
